Knowing me, I would brush, grind, sand, blast or whatever until I saw shiny metal EVERYWHERE.
Im kindof a freak when it comes to proper prep work. I hate to leave stuff unground or whatever.
Im pretty sure it wouldnt be a big deal to leave some of the rust and stuff behind though. I have only heard good about POR-15, and heard that it is well worth the time taken to apply it.

Yeah I hear ya, but there are spots where its just real hard to get to. I looked at it dry and it seems that it self levels, fills pitting and those types of things and looks outstanding!!
I got a gallon of it for 100.00. Last year I spent over 150 with Chassis paint and it was shot in one winter. I would pay 200.00 a gallon for this stuff though
We may have gone a bit overboard with prepping it, just to be sure it was done well. But you can just wire brush it, blow it off and paint it. We had 4 forum members, myself and my brother doing all this. It was a real good time man.
Thanks man
Well today I started painting the frame under the cab and I will tell you it is a PITA!! I have done up to the torsion bars but I am having an issue with painting the inside of the frame due to brake lines and fuel lines. I may have to spray it on there if I can't firgure something out.
I also found I need to nuke the front end with the purple power due to grease and other crap on there so this project is going to take a while!!
