couple questions for you guys that have been there. 1) what is the hole size for the flags so I can make a mount. 2) are there any fire rings in the sites for cooking or grills for that matter? just wondering incase I wana bring food to cook on the fire.

 

1) 1/2" hole. Best suggestion is to just make a light tab and run it off of there.

2) Yes and they suck. They are 22.5" truck rims. Rob has a better pit that he brought with this last time to cook food on. We have a group fire every night. In may I didnt even bring a heat source.

 

sweet sounds good. I plan on bringing alot of easy stuff like stuff for sandwichs etc. I'll just make an extra tab for it on my front bumper, thanks for the size.

 

You guys staying at the hotel or campgroud?? I have never been up there and have been thinkin bout stayin at the campground.

 

camping DUH! If you are going to be alone look for someone to split a site with since the sites are kindof expensive. I think David (Ranger_Guy15) is still looking for someone to split a site with.

 

I will be bringing the fire pit again. They can keep there over sized rims in the ground.

Also I will be cooking for some people again this trip, and last trip I seemed to end up cooking for everyone so if anyone would like to join in send me a PM and I can give more details.

 

A few of my buddies are going too. I think we will have a total of 3 trucks 2 quads and a dirt bike.

 

camping is full, so if you have not made reservations dont bother calling.

 

shoot, well I got a site to myself but my GF is coming along. If I woulda known he was trying to split one I woulda tried to work somthing out. oh well.

Ah I called this afternoon and changed my site from a rustic to electric so theres gotta be a spot available. David if you want I can add you on to my site. It will be the same rate as a rustic site. You have to sleep in the tent though, the trailer is for me and the gf only.

 

better figure that **** out quick! lol

 

I wouldnt mind sleeping in the tent.

Dinner:
Spaggetti with Meatballs and Garlic Bread
Taco Night with Soft and Hard Shells with salsa and chips
Fry Night! Mozzerella Sticks, Onion Rings and French Fries

Breakfast:
Donuts and or Muffins
Pancakes and Sausage
Eggs and Bacon

Lunchs:
As necessary, some days we don't eat lunch, Hot Dogs!

It will be bring your own random snacks and drinks.

If you need anything from Costco for that menu let me know. We do have waffle fries, but I dont know how well they would fry up. Are you going to fry up fish again this time. I really wanted some but I ended up going to watch the sunset.

At the moment, no, we are not going to make fish. Last time when we made fish no one really ate it because they were all ready full from everything else. I can do fish if enough people want it though, that's no problem at all.
