i haven't been there in awhile... i never got a permit when i have gone there in the past, but who knows it might be required now and it may have been required then. if it is, i would assume it's not much and well worth it. or you could probably get away without it if you stay out of the main camp area.

regardless, either way it will definitely be the place to be on Memorial Day weekend. dope-a$$ offraoding (2wd, 4wd, quads, bikes, all levels), the colorado river next door (swimming, boats, jet skis), and most of all girls all over the place, aka scenery! ...lol

Well im sticking to jawbone, Glamis is bad-a** just to many crazies on holidays weekends. Plus like a six hour drive for me. Not worth it for a few days.

im not going to glamis either. 3+ hours is enough. Doesn't need to turn into 7+ hours.

and yes you do need a permit for glamis. they're like $40 for a week.

i just checked glamis's webpage. a permit is required - $25 for a week. with it being a 3-day weekend, i think it is well worth it. or there is even gordon's well which is just south of glamis. this is also a big spot for memorial weekend with riding for everyone, water close by, and of course "eye-candy"!

I'm still going to Jawbone. I live less than an hour away.

I'm only going Friday thru Saturday night/sunday morning though, check the first thread.
