Southern Ontario Meet
 

So after going to the meet this weekend, Me and Shadowranger08 were talking about having a big southern ontario meet, I suggested we go to a conservation area or somewhere you can camp and do a weekend thing? preferrably near a lake or some place to fish, have someone bring a bbq, bring food and beer fishing pole tent, truck, tools if you want to put something on your truck it can be done then if your being hesitant like i am with my lift, let me know guys, michigan and newyork state guys may want to come everyone is welcome post suggestions!

any suggestions where to go? like camp grounds or anywhere? i really wanna go to a place that has a lake or a river to fish cause I'd love to go fishing for a couple hours during the meet and drink some beer :)

Were is Ontario are you looking at haveing it. It you want you could have it at the Darlington park, Ganaraska park ( they have some trails there). there are a ton of good camping spots east of Toronto.

hey im down for this, i just did some camping and exploring this weekend out in port rowen, near port dover and turkey point. its a great area for camping and driving around and a very good spot for some scenic shots.

right on that sounds like a good spot i was thinking bellwood lake but if u cud like googlemap that for me dan thatd be awesome

there is a graphic map for ya, i think turkey point and long point have good camp sites but i havent been out there this year.. yet, but they are just down the road from port rowan

yea that works, fergus is almost just around the corner from where im at on the weekends.

we have pinehurst with a nice little lake right in the park to do fishing, just down from paris, not to far from where we were the other day

Where would we go camping at Belwood the conservation area doesn't have a camp ground

Pinehurst is great for camping but a little lacking for fishing and trails ect.

ya there isnt really much other than that around my area haha

yo byng island is pretty cool, used to go there a lot when i was a wee lad, too bad we'd have to go to dunnville...eeeewww lol

i'd be down for a drive within 6 hours. fergus is good, is there anythign near wasaga or tobermory? maybe something more central?

Morris where do you mean by Central I think anything within like an hour of Toronto is pretty central.

well, tobermory, and the bruce isn't. that's why i said more central.
