Spring 2012 Florida Meet Planning Thread

Well being we haven't had a meet since November it's time to get another meet going. For the spring meet I'm thinking lets go back to ONF. But this time less pavement more trail. I guess we can do hot-dogs and burgers. We can all bring something to the meet like we have before and meet up at a store and get the rest.. Let's go ahead and set a date sometime in May so everyone can make arrangement's s to come.

If you have 2wd, just make sure you have a hook on the front or something on the back.

They typically go in the "mouth" of the valance... like this:

tow hooks came standard on edges (4wd frame), but I'm sure you can fab them to fit, or there might be a bolt hole all ready for it.

ill look for something to do it with tomorrow but i got my hidden reese hitch today!!!!!!!! just need to buy two more bolts and then it will hold anything......(knot on wood) unless the bolts break.

im thinking ill buy some jeep hooks and see what i can find.... maybe mount them side ways

okay so all this talk about hooks got me thinking.... i have a reese hitch sitting in my room. i gave to my friend cuz it fits a f150 not a ranger. but i did that a year ago for him... i asked him tonight if he still wants it. if not ill weld it to the front of the truck

it's knock on wood lol I did some research about 2wd non edges and it looks like we lack a crossmember in the front for towhooks.

True. I can always use a small rope and hook under the truck I used to do before I got a Reese hitch and there's plenty of space to do some and it won't mess up anything at all not even if they ****** you..... I've used this trick on my truck and my body dylans truck and his moms car....
