Icon5 Is $9900 to much???

Hey everyone i'm new to this forum, but i'm lookin to buy a 2003 Ranger FX4 Lvl.2 and I wanted to know if it is worth it? The truck has 84,000 miles on it and it is in mint condition and the carfax report shows no damage or bad history.... I just wanted to know if there is any frequent problems or issues with this year model? My friend has a 2001 xlt and it runs perfect with 168,000 miles on it and has never had a issue, but I thought I heard that the level 2's had issues with the tranny??? I would appreciate any information people have about this truck

I haven't heard the FX4 called out specifically on tranny problems. They don't have anything different then a normal Ranger in that regard. As long as you maintain it, though, you should be fine.

$9900 is a lot for a rig with almost 100K on it, though. I'd try to talk them down to at LEAST $7500, if not lower then that.
