AlabamaFord is here

Hey Guys,
Not new but new to being an owner of a ranger.

2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 4x4 extended Cab 136k miles. Looks like it has blocks under the back and it does have larger tires 265/75/16 at the moment.

Cant wait to get some new shoes on it. Drove pretty good but kinda bounced.

welcome, if they are steel blocks they are factory, they should also have ears on the blocks that are part of the bump stop system.

also one thing that jumps out at me is the 2wd grill and bumper on your truck, was it ever involved in an accident?

bouncyness is normal with the torsion bar set up, the previous owner may have turned the torsion bars to help with the 265's on it now. truck does look very clean tho.

Looks good man. Not to far away from me. We use to have a decently little ranger group up here. It has dwindled down some though.

I'm not sure on the front the wreck part thier are a few cracks in the front grill but nothing to major I will have to check on that.

I do not think the blocks are steal but will check tomorrow.

Carfax shows no wrecks or accidents but the vehicle was manufactured in 04/03.
