Aloha from Maui

Aloha everybody. Just Introducing myself and my Ranger. Look forward to meeting you and your truck as well. Here's my '07 with her new lift, and yes to trip some of you out, it's an RCD kit…

Aloha,
Keith

I had joined before it became infested with preteens & RF was going thru it's "Rick" phase.

I joined both around the same time, but I saw what Rick was doing here and decided to just post on FRF.

I wish I was around here back when RF was really alive.

It was pretty badass back then. Lots of builds & knowledgable people. Trying new things and figuring out what works, what doesn't. Etc

Thank god for archives. This forum helped me out a lot more than FRF ever could.

For sure, if I ever have a question on something I come over here first and search. Usually find what I'm looking for.

Most of the problem is sifting through the BS in all of the threads over there. The disc brake swap thread for example.. is like 4-5 pages here.. it's like 40 there.

FRF is just slowly dieing and more or less useless for anything really technical, not a bunch of bs in every thread here. I think frf is the only forum where people believe the lima engine dual plug mod works even though it was proven it changes nothing.

Yep. FRF is where a bunch of Ranger owners sit around and BS. R-F is where **** gets done.

Bunch of non ranger guys on there now. On here you get big time props for supercharging a 2.3 lima, there you get raped and lit on for turbocharging a 3.0.

Well, who says we can't bring that "good 'ol days" atmosphere back? Especially when putting on this lift, man the archives helped. Addressed the pitfalls before the build so hoping for a long life span.

Some of us are trying. I can see a little difference from when I first started coming back on here last year.

Problem is the ranger is dead and the aftermarket is dying. Most of your knowledgable people have moved on, grown up, got perma-banned and 95% of your next generation ranger owners don't having anything to contribute. FRF being a prime example of that.

We can try but it won't ever be like it was.
