Another New Guy currently in Iraq

Howdy All

Just registered after digging around site for a few days... Just purchased a 00 XLT FX4 while on leave two weeks ago...chompn at the bit to upgrade performance for when I get back from Iraq (Sandbox, kittylitter or Ashtray or whatever you want to call it) from this fall (finishn up my 5th combat tour over 19 years of svc third tour in last 4yrs). I have a big ole parts catalog with me but dont have the complete underatanding of all the performance parts hopen the members of the site can give me the insight i need to make the right choice the first time. Im pretty good with wiring electronics stuff up but as for engine performance goes Im a complete novice Any help would be greatly appreciated in the future

If it's truly a 2000MY it's not a true FX4. That wasn't offered until 2001MY. If it's labeled that way it's probably a 4x4 Off Road Package truck.

Thank you All for the words of encouragement; Hopefully I can figure out and send responses individually give me time! Im slow but effective! I see eveyone's Rangers and want to play with mine so bad but cant. Good thing I cant at this point I think Id be broke...
