Any tips replaceing brake/clutch pedal assembly

Hey there guys, I need a little, no a bunch of help here!!
I'm Patty, an over 50's driver of a 98 Ranger Reg Cab SLT. Don't know much about my little tough guy, but I could use some tips on replacing the clutch brake pedal assembly bracket. Like someone who has replaced one like mine. Bolt by bolt commentary!!! L O L The piece over the clutch side of the bracket is gone, air. I ordered a new one, so I have about a week to get the old one out, It's hitting 100 degrees now. As I understand it is not so fun, this job!! I have read three versions of how it's done, but being female, alot of stuff goes over my head and then I am reading, reading reading. I am no mechanic. I can function with tools, I set up conventions here in Vegas for 15 years. Guess you could say I'm a tough old broad. I've helped ex's do auto stuff, nothing big though. This doesn't seem so big, but it is in such a bad location. Do you think I can do this job myself, or with help from my daughter who is totally into fixing cars? Or should I hire someone to do it for me. Scared to start removing part, do I dare try?... in Vegas!!

Me again about the pedal bracket

Can anyone recommend or know of anyone who works on Rangers in Las Vegas that I could possibly hire to do this?

Thanks to Rangergay, but both of those repair schematics don't even look like the bracket assembly that is in my truck. I wonder if they changed it in the middle of 1998, my truck was mfg. in 9/98. Appreciate the help
