Crown Vic owner looking for Ranger-style mods

Hi folks. I'm a Crown Vic guy that is looking to do some reasonably priced mods. My Dad has a Ranger, and I'd like to adopt some of the styling to my car. Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to brainstorming and mingling with you all at some point.

Well, that is certainly a new twist! I am not that familiar with the Crown Vic platform, but I am sure you will pick up some ideas here that you can apply to your ride. Has your dad performed mods on his Ranger?

Well, quite a few people seem to be lifting their Crown Vics and turning them into prerunner desert tru....cars. Is that something that interests you?

Or are you looking to do things like an overhead console and nicer seats? lol.

Lol I'm more of the nicer seats, overhead console, lights, and functional stuff. I'm in a car club that had some of the flash paint and wheels, but I'm more the stock type look.

Well, Ranger owners tend to look at Explorers when it comes to options like that since they are based off of the Ranger platform and some of the parts like seats and consoles will interchange. I'm not sure what trim level your car is, but you may want to look into Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars for nicer options to swap into your car.

Been over to crownvic website? I also have a 2010 CVPI. Read somewhere that GM seats and consoles go in without too much fuss. Blinker mod, airbox mod. Don't know if there is an overhead mod out there.
