Hello all,
My name is Travis and I just made my first adult purchase, that being a 2011 Ford Ranger. The Ranger has the 32k miles on it, is a SuperCab, has 4 Wheel Drive, the 4.0L V6 SOHC engine and only had 1 previous owner. I bought it off a local used car lot with the approval of a family friend who is a mechanic and I am very excited to get to drive it when I pick it up from the dealer early this coming week. I currently drive a 2009 Kia Optima I will be trading in and before that I owned a 2003 F-150. I am interested in changing and modifying a few things on my Ranger which is why I joined this forum. When I had my old F-150 I had done a few things to it such as adding a new radio and speaker system with amplifiers and subs, getting a bedliner put on and regular maintenance such as oil changes and replacing burnt out bulbs so I'm somewhat mechanically inclined, but not extremely. With my new Ranger I have a few things that I would like to do to it and was wondering if anyone had done similar projects and how it went for them. These include:

• Removing the plastic bedliner and replacing it with a professional done bedliner such as Line-X
• Replacing factory radio with a more advanced one
• Possibly replacing speakers with higher quality ones connected to an amplifier
• Replacing the factory grill
• Adding bed lights for night time use
• Possibly automatic locking tailgate
• Removing the fold up back seats with an storage system instead
