Free beater-> solid farm truck light trail truck

Short and sweet intro first:
got an 89 ranger for free if I made it run work on a farm basically not well maintained fire roads I don't haul much maybe a person or two or a bed or a injured animal don't Wana go full pre runner but mid travel enough to enjoy a quick drive not a very nice road and not worry about breaking anything
Truck is 2.3 rwd completely stock unknown miles odometer is busted reading over 757k engine has good compression but had a severely blown out radiator so is their an upgraded cooling system thats the recommended go to or some good options ? Second just where do you guys recommend I start ik I need new shocks going mid travel I plan to go the fox rought since that's what I grew up with going with ko2s for tires and still looking into wheels
Really my biggest questions are 1 what are some solid options for a new cooling system without breaking the bank? 2 what drivetrain components need to be replaced or strengthened? 3 recommended fox set up that's decently adjustable easily so at max I can throw a dirt bike in the back? And 4 what things do I need to immediately keep an eye on something that may break or just generally are overlooked items that could be worn and finally 5 what companies are best to avoid or gimmick parts
