Got her last week
Hey guys,
I just bought my first car (2008 Ranger 4x4 XLT) and found this forum so I signed up. The truck's got 68k miles on it and I hope to keep it past 200k but with a track record that includes a sunken boat and broken mowers, I wouldn't place a bet on it. I live in southern Maine but plan to take it up north to the old logging trails and along the Allagash. The truck is all stock but I'm guessing it'll need a little extra clearance and some underbody protection.
Anyways, I'll probably be asking a lot of questions here but I learn quick so in a year or two I'll be answering them!

Welcome, with the proper maintenance the truck *should* last that long, and longer. Treat her right, and she'll behave. Haven't had any issues with mine aside from things I've cause with my abuse.
Just general maintenance and treating it nice once in a while.
