Greetings

1st time Ranger owner. Just purchased an '02 XLT 4x2 extended body, auto, FFV, 3.0 V6 w/202K mi. Needs some minor work, they all do, but should be good to go soon. Doing routine maintenance, new oil and filter, air filter, shocks, plugs, belt(s)?, fluids, etc...Just passed change of ownership smog and registered. Lots of parts available at the boneyard. Gotta love that. Cheers!

Id also clean the MAF using the proper cleaner. Also remove and clean the IAC and its seat using carb cleaner. Being an 2002 the vacuum lines most likely need replaced as well - easiest way to tell is if any look crumbily or you touch them and your fingers turn black they need replaced.

Dont forget to grease the front end and U joints if possible.
