I recently picked up my first-ever Ranger, a 2010 XLT 2.3/5-speed/2WD with about 78k on the clock. I'm coming to this truck after owning a couple older 4x4 Yotas, but am no stranger to Ford trucks; we've owned several in my family. Wasn't really planning on getting a 4X2, but the low-mileage, 5-speed and great condition of this one won me over. So far I've put some Blizzaks on (+1 size, 235/75r15) and replaced the bumper with a new chrome one (not pictured). The truck has a Firestone Ride-Rite airbag setup in the back, which is nice. It already has a bit of a rake, but I'm putting some oem 4x4 leaf spring blocks and 4x4 shocks in soon. I've also got some 2" Maxtrac leveling springs coming in the mail; looking to basically get this thing up a couple inches to stock 4x4 height, and when summer comes around throw some all-terrains on and basically have a nice economical daily driver/camping rig that can handle some fire roads up North. Looking forward to learning lots of cool stuff here!
