Greetings from Roll Tide Central!
I found this forum earlier this week via a Google search and really appreciate what I see.
By way of introduction here are the basics --
Real name is Rick. I live in Alabama.
I'm on my third Ranger truck and have recently concluded that I'll stay with them until my last one goes to my heirs. (Got my first one in 1994).
Other stuff -- former Marine, avid reader, almost lifelong bicyclist and motorcyclist, married with 2 grown children and 3 grand kids.
I don't tend to stray very far from stock with any of my mechanical devices, except for a Suzuki DR650 that I rode across country and up the Continental Divide Trail in 2010. The DR has been modded to the point I have more invested in mods than I paid for the bike.
That's probably enough. Thanks to all of you for the brain trust you have built around here -- it has already helped me with a couple of useful tidbits of information.
