I've wanted a Ranger for a very long time so I decided to ditch my 93 Explorer, and get one..
Its a 2001 Edge 4X4, 4-Door.



Ive been lurking this site for a couple weeks, and since I just bought the truck, I cant afford to do anything big right now, but I have done the mustang dome light which I am very happy with.

The next mod I have planned is the headlight mod. I cant seem to find a write-up for it anywhere. So if anyone can find one please let me know so i can do it sunday.

nice clean slate to start off with dude. i was looking at getting the same exact truck except yellow a few weeks ago. decided to stick w/ mine and get the frame fixed though. and what headlight mod do you want to do exactly (HIDs? blacked out?) im pretty sure you can get blacked headlights off ebay for cheap.

I want to do the black out mod, that would look awesome, and I couldnt find any on ebay.

Does anybody have these? Are the lights still as bright as the stock lense?

 

im pretty sure they use your stock bulbs. look at the corner lense in the pics, you can see where the bulbs are supposed to be inserted. they would look killer on your truck. and another nice touch, would be to eventually do the 3rd brake light. i have a white truck, and i bought the chrome LED light to replace the stock one. they make a dark gray/blackish one that would set off your truck nice. here's what mine looks like on my truck. sorry so dirty, shes been off the road for 6 months!

yeah brother, ebay. or, talk to Alon he sells them on his website www.modbargains.com. might be a TAD more expensive, but you'll get to talk to him and get feedback or w/e you need. Plus, the one's he sells are made by RECON, i couldnt tell you the company that made mine. my screenname is sspil365 IM me if you want to talk about the truck.

 

and it will fit a Ranger or F-250 or F-350 SD.

Welcome by the way, I love having more Washingtonians and Oregonians around here.. gives us more power to beat back the mighty horde of the southerner's and easterners haha



We did have a meet happening on, sadly though, Shane and myself got loaded down with work big time, and a couple other guys had vehicle problems.. but, I think pretty soon here I can get a big barbeque going on, possible camp out on the property up here, big bonfire, food, all the fun stuff.. Keep an eye on the meets and greets section for info =)
