I just inherited my dad's 2001 Ranger 4X4 off road with a 4.0. Just found this site and thought I would try to gain as much knowledge as possible. This truck was his "retirement truck" and I'm gonna try to make it my "retirement truck" but in my case I hope it makes it to my retirement.

Here is some before and after pictures of the truck after I washed and used Nu Finish on it and no the timing chain tensioner has not been changed. He hit a deer with it (hince the front end damage) so I have a "to do" list which is timing chain replacement and tensioner, serpent belt replace, fix front end and the just small stuff.

The truck has 136,000 miles on it I'm gonna check on the timing chain replacement stuff very soon.
