I'm very excited to finally work on a truck.
I have a 2000 xlt 3.0 4x4 an would love to get started on making one bad *** rig.
would like to get out of 60/40 seat an get this ready to offroad like a real... boy. any hints would be welcome. ps my rpm gauge works sort of, any ideas how to fix that?

Hi and welcome,

Since your new you should know you can post as many questions as you would like.

You can also post as many threads as you need also to get your answers.

However it is best to post each question in the appropriate spot.

It is best to first browse the sections that may apply to your truck and or question to see if the question has been answered before.

Any question that has a known thread or multiple threads already may go unanswered.

one helpful hint is to add any information about your truck in your signature.

the information in your signature helps people that want to help you know what truck engine trans etc that you may have.

This way you only have to type this information once and we do not have to guess.

When asking questions the more detailed information you provide the more helpful people tend to become.

Meaning if you make a thread and claim your truck runs like crap and post nothing else, the effort you will get from others will be equal to or less than the effort you put into your request for help.

For example

On your Tachometer you should post a question in the 3.0 section and clearly describe what you notice is happening with the gauge, also add notes if the gauge cluster is original or if it has been modified with LED bulbs or overlays etc.

Again welcome and good luck with your quest for knowledge.
