Hello All
Hello All
Hey there everyone.
I recently purchased a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT Automatic Extended Cab with the 2.9L V6. I really like the truck so far, and was told it only had 103k miles on it, and it had sat for a really long time. I really like the truck. The odometer only has 5 digits as most of you probably know, and the State of TN doesnt require odometer readings on vehicles over 10 years so I have no way of really knowing but it seems like a pretty solid truck for being almost 30 years old. With the exception of all the issues you'd expect from a vehicle that has sat for a long time (bad rubber, fluid seeping in places because of seals, oh and the mud dobber nests all under the body and the hood). I'm really making a commitment so seeing what I can do with this truck, as the body is in really good shape, so I'm very happy I found this place.
I'm no mechanic, I'm a monkey with tools and a Haynes manual but I'm not stupid and capable of learning. Hopefully I don't get on anyones nerves here and this place will be a valuable resource for me.
Thanks!
