Hello out there to ALL the Ford Ranger people! I just joined the forum a short while ago (30 minutes) and have been a Ford Ranger owner quite a few times!!! I have had a 1988 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9 Liter, 2 wheel drive, long wheel base 5 speed, White in color and my 1st Vehicle ever owned bought used from my parents when I was 17 year old, then I traded it for a used 1992 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 Liter, 2 wheel drive, 5 speed with 38,000 miles on it, Indigo Blue in color, then I traded it in on a BRAND NEW 1994 Ford Ranger STX 4.0 Liter, 2 wheel drive, 5 speed which is my FAVORITE Pickup Truck to date and I was a Senior in High School but had a part time job to pay my payments!!! Traded it for a 1997 Camaro Z28 6speed but went and found me a 1996 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 Liter. 2 wheel drive, 5 speed, Electric Red in color for transportation for work and daily chores / usage. I now have a 2008 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 Liter, 4 x 4 Ext Cab, Automatic (5 speed) that I bought a few months ago off of a older lady that belonged to her husband that had passed away with 20,000 miles on it!!! I am going to try to find me another 1993 - 1994 Ford Ranger 4 x 2 with the 4.0 Liter and 5 speed, regular cab / short bed and see how far I can push it now that I am alot older than I was back 23 year ago, LOL!!!
