Hello from Detroit.....

Hello!
My wife just picked up (as a 3rd vehicle) a 1997 Ranger 4 banger, 5 speed XLT. Just a little bit of rust...runs great. 124k miles. Looking forward to putzing around with the truck!

Here are a couple pictures. (I know they are poor quality)

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Drove the truck yesterday, it drives great. It'll be a great around-town, wood haulin, bike haulin vehicle I think.

Only found a couple issues with it. Fuel gauge reads "Full" all the time, and the blower motor only works on "off" or "FULL BLAST".

Needs a sending unit and a resistor pack.

Resistor pack? Where for the blower motor controls?

Correct. Its usually located next to the blower motor, like a plug and play deal.
