Hello everyone!
My name is Guy and I recently bought a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT with the 4.0 engine. I plan on updating the stereo head unit and speakers. I will stay with the factory size (5x7) speakers up front but I will be putting larger (6x9) speakers in the rear doors for a little more bass since right now I don't plan on putting in a subwoofer. I have 4" of clearance to the 6x9 speakers should be no problem. If anyone has done this I would like to hear about it and also know if any modifications were made to the plastic door panel to make it fit.
I would like to hear from anyone and plan to read alot of posts as I love to learn. Please feel free to contact me as questions help everyone to not only learn but enjoy their vehicles more!
