Hello Ford Enthusiasts
Hello,
I just purchased a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 4.0 V6 SOHC Extended Cab. I purchased the truck to be a daily driver since I want to turn my old daily driver (2007 Ford Mustang GT Coupe) into a weekend toy/track car. Plan on doing minimal changes to this truck, mainly in the form of audio upgrades.
So far, I have removed the broken 6-CD changer factory radio and replaced it with a Kenwood KDC-BT945U head unit. Oh yeah, I also removed the front license plate holder as well.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Andrew aka JasperGT

Yeah, I had a two year no holds barred to with my mods for my Ranger, then we got our 89 gt convertible.. Now the Ranger is the younger family member guarding the way older and more needing distant uncle cause he just can't go out as often as he used to. Its almost stock except for removing the rear luggage rack and swapping that for a aftermarket spoiler. Took a bit of time finding the stock rims and 15 inch tires. Just about to start on the things a got for it during this winter.

Thanks for all the compliments! I don't plan on changing anything exterior wise on the stang, except I have changed the rims to TSW Nurburgrings in matte gunmetal (18sx9.5 all around). Got real fed up with how stiff the ride was on the 20s. I have race springs on the car and they are incredibly stiff! Great for taking corners though!
Jrevans2002, nice looking fox! Those can be extremely fun!
Anyone else here have a mustang?

It's got the go fast to go with the looks. She's naturally aspirated, but she puts 355 rwhp/333 rwtq to the ground. JLT CAI, Steeda Under Drive Pulleys, Steeda Charge Motion Control Valves Delete Plates, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Comp Cams ***** Thumpr Cams (Stage II), American Racing Headers Long Tubes with Off Road X-pipe, Pypes M80 Bullit Mufflers and Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers (this girl is loud!), 4.10 gears, H&R Race Springs and Koni Yellow Shocks/Struts with a dyno tune. Next items to be installed are a set of better brakes and either a carbon fiber or aluminum 1-piece drive shaft.
Last time I went to the track I ran a 13.0 at 80 mph in the quarter. I did a pretty sweet 3-2 "upshift" that ended up throwing my rear end gears out of whack. That kind of shift is called a "money shift", because it usually results in a bent valve resulting in one having to pay a lot of money to fix. I got lucky and only had to have 4.10s installed (again), but haven't raced since. I'll get around to it one of these days. I should be mid to high 12s in street trim, and if I get around to getting drag slicks maybe low 12s. Who knows?!
