Hello & HELP!!

So this is my first post. Hope everyone's having a great Saturday. I'm looking for help with my 03 Ranger. The harmonic damper on the tailshaft has broken free. I went to Ford looking for a replacement & was advised that the part is obsolete! One of Ford's better ideas?? Anyway, does anyone know if drivetrain parts are interchangable between Rangers & the Mazda B series? Fathers day is coming & I need to get the truck road worthy for the annual fishing trip with my sons & nephews. I'm going to remove the ring today. I think it's only purpose is to supply back pressure to the gears in the tranny. Anyone with knowledge on this thing??

Welcome to R-F! Most parts are interchangeable... it's just mainly the exterior stuff that is different.
