Hello From Indianapolis
Kind of new to the site. Joined a couple months ago to get some answers on my truck. In such a rush to get it fixed, I skipped over this area. Now that I have my answers, thought I would come in and introduce myself a bit... I have an 03 Ranger XLT. 4.0 v6 manual 4x4. New to the Ranger line. Still getting a feel for my truck. Been doing some replacement of parts. Neighbor's garage caught fire. So Since then I have been replacing parts since SEP08. Got the answers I needed to get most of the parts replaced... thanks guys, you helped me out of a few major headaches. I expect I'll be back more often...

The neighbor's garage fire is the reason I had to come here. It melted parts on my truck and burned others, and made a mess of things for me. It's been a learning experience, not the kind I would have liked, on how things come apart, and how heat can find it's way into the darkest of regions under a vehicle.
