Its the rainy season here now - but should be better this next week since the Derby is over

 

I lived in Sturgis (West ky) for 8 years until I joined the Navy. I loved it but the weather was unforgiving. My parents went without power for a month during that ice storm.

i grew up in louisville love the city, only thing its just a bit cold here in the winter. ice storm was bad - and LG&E isn't the fastest to repair any power outages in the city - including when we have thunderstorms. Where i live we were lucky no outages here, mostly downtown but a lot of people were out and across the river.

i know where sturgis, ky is - been there once going to evansville and we were just riding around checking out areas of KY we'd never been - couple friends of mine.... Nice area down there... Sure is a lot quieter than this rat race of town - and at least its a rural setting and i'm sure nice place to hunt and fish - darn city living you have to drive miles to find a decent fishing place

I went to school in bowling green at wku - thats an awesome town!

 

Ya, its an awesom place. Screw the beach for vacation, I go to Kentucky.
