Hello From South Florida
My name is Alexis and I recently bought a '96 ranger from a coworker... he got his 2nd DUI and had to let it go (bummer, man). It was a work truck for his dad's electric company and the wear and tear shows, but it runs and gets me around and I like it a lot. Plus a beater like that is a great surf truck! I've already done some basics like fluid changes and hit the junk yard for replacement window cranks and a headliner; and plan on stepping it up in the near future. I like the DIY-ability of the truck and the Haynes manual is my god right now.
As I was sitting in traffic this afternoon, another Ranger pulled up next to me. This one, unlike mine, had shiny paint, was lifted on bigger tires, and had a nice bold aftermarket exhaust. I couldn't make out much else (because I was looking over my shoulder) but I saw a sticker on the window that said ranger-forums.com, and I knew then I had to check out this site. I may not want to go that far with the truck but from the poking around I've done I can tell that this forum is going to be a great resource!

Not sure how well you know the area... It was on Northlake Blvd. just eat of I-95. It was yellow and the sticker is on the windshield. Nice truck, I must say! If you know the area, then you probably know where I work, which is The Brass Ring Pub.
