Hey all! Newb to the Ranger Forums

I just stumbled across this forum, and I'm very glad that I did!

The names Richard, I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I've got a 2001 Ranger XLT 4X4 Off Road with some custom exhaust on it at the moment. Its supposed to be my 'stock' daily driver, but that never lasts long :p In the next while I'm going to put some JBA headers on it, build an intake, and figure out some tuning options. I'd like to lift it enough to stick some 33's on it, but would like to ride on some 35's. We'll see how it goes.

welcome! and nice truck..theres plenty of lift options for you, just use that thing on the toolbar called "search" and you may be able to dig up something b4 asking questions...

Thanks. for the "search tip" I'm certainly no noob to forums, besides I've already read this site cover to cover, or at least the topics of interest. I've got a clear cut idea of exactly how I'm gonna lift this rig - additionally, I work in the automotive biz so figuring things out on my own is not a foreign concept.

thanks man, dark shadow grey is the best color there is, im liking the red, what kind of tires are you planning on putting on it? an M/T or A/T?

My preference would be M/T but we'll see what happens when the time comes. As it stands, its got brand new rubber on it, so replacing them is a pretty low priority.

Nice truck and the Ranger offers many opportunities for fun. After 5 years I took mine to the "next level" and SAS'd it -- but I certainly had a lot of fun with it previously.

I have a bunch of mods on my Cardomain pages if you want to have a look. Explorer Overhead Console, LED mods, and if you're real ambitious the Electronic Automatic Temperature system from an Explorer can be retrofit. There's a link in my signature.
