Hi folks! I'm Dan and I live in the St. Louis area. Came across your site a few days ago and just now getting around to introducing myself. i have an '02 Ranger XLT extended cab with the 3.0 V6 and auto. It has 175,000 and change on the odo. Yes, the tranny crapped out at about 135,000 but it's fixed now. The truck is silver with gray interior and has manual windows & locks. Just fine by me.

I had a '76 F150 with the big six in the early-mid '90's & one of my saddest days was when I sold it. We'd just had our second child and needed a more family friendly vehicle. When the Escort I'd been running for about years threw a rod, I looked for a chance to get another truck. Found this Ranger in '07 and have been happy since.

I'll be asking for tech help now and again. I'm a capable mech, I just haven't had a lot of experience. Mostly learned as I'vehad the need.

Hi Taylor. Appreciate the congratulations but I'm compressing about 17 years into my story. That 2nd child just started her senior year of high school, I've got a boy in middle school and my oldest has an 8 month old son of her own. It's cool though. Anyway,I'm looking forward to using everyone's help from the site to keep my Ranger running & looking good for years to come.
