Hey from south shore
Hi, i just joined last week and i just bought a '97 Ranger 2.3 5 speed two weeks ago. It has 182,XXXmi. on it and runs strong. I sold a 1981 Suzuki GS1100E i had to buy this truck. The GS went for $1200 and i got the truck for $800. It needed a good cleaning and now the interior is almost perfect. THe only significant rust on it is in the bed which is why i bought a flareside off a splash at my friend's junk yard. I have a new dynamax exhaust waiting to be put in and the whole truck will be painted by the auto body shop i work at. I have a pioneer stereo waiting to be put in (I need the Ranger mounting hardware and wiring kit) chances are i will be putting some new speakers in later on but no nut rumbling subs. I just mounted and leveled out the new front bumper yesterday( the old one had a huge dent and bend in it) as well as a new air bag(draw your own conclusion :) ). I will have pics up later, i wish i did some before and after shots because the inside was really bad but i still have a ways to go before the rest of the truck is finished. Amazingly i havn't broke the $1200 i made off of the bike (Thank god for Junk yards). There...how's that for an intro...
