Hi from Alabama

New to the site. Have owned several Rangers in the past and they wore me out. Hope to gleam some information from you guys on the 4.0 engine/transmission.

I currently do not own a Ranger, but have owned two 4x4's in the past and absolutely love them. I own a 99 F250, and a 42 gpw (WWII jeep) and a 37 Ford Sedan (pile of metal).

Yes on future ranger, I need a daily driver that gets better fuel mileage than my F250. Never thought of myself as being a Ford man, but looking back that is the vehicle that has out performed all others.
