Welcome to R/F

Sounds like the tranny, but I don't know what specifically about the tranny is doing that. Someone will chime in and help you out

Hey Crissy, it is the transmission. They are easy to replace, bring it over and I will fix it for you. No problem.

well if it only goes in reverse ( in 2wd) then i'd say its the tranny, but i think the 2wd problem could be a vacume line to the 4wd, i'm pretty sure it is a pneumatic 4wd but if it is then a line is easy to replace, mine went out and it was 25, including labor, to fix. but that is prolly the most simple way to go about fixing the 4wd. now if it only it went forward lol
