Long time first time and all that. I am new to the old Ranger world and have gleaned lots of great information so far. I hope to try to help too, in time.

We're having a bit of heat wave here where I'm at too, it's 86 in the shade or around 30 Celsius.
And it's not so much the heat, it's all the annoying tourists at this time of year, they plug up the river floating down on their tubes.
There are so many of them there is often a traffic jam in this shallow spot where the bridge is on the main drag, it's pretty funny !

 

I was just in WI - you guys dont have the humidity we in IL have. And your roads are SOOOO much better. Someday i will migrate to your great state....Hell IL might be broken up if they declare bankrupcy and i may become part of WI without having to move!

 

I am planning to be an annoying tourist, floating down the river, next week. It beats feeding the local mosquitos. and if Dngr Rngr thinks our roads are good I am staying away from Ill. This is the other season, winter and construction.
