Howdy All!
Howdy All!
Hey everyone!
I've been reading along now for about 4 months or so, without really posting. I'd like to say hi, and thanks so much for being a wonderful resource! I can't believe how much I've learned lately, all thanks to the friendly community here.
Thanks to this resource, i've looked at my Ranger in a new light. I bought my 2001 Ranger about 3 years ago, at a fleet sale. It used to be an old Wisconsin Electric utility truck, complete with cheap aluminum bed cap and orange flashing light. At times i debated selling it, being 2wd Auto with crappy gas milage and not much power. Despite living an unloved life early on, It got very careful attention, every oil change, tire rotation, wash, and wiper blade change was documented over it's 111,000 mile service. Happy to say It's still running great, and thanks to a few tips, is running better than ever. (Specifically the throttle cable tensioning! i feel like i have a new truck!)
Because of you all, I've learned what a wonderful vehicle i have, and really feel the pride of of owning a Ranger (allbeit in less than desired trim level).
So i just wanted to say thanks, and hi!

Hello all
Hi everyone
New to this forum, but not new to these types of forums. I had a 89 ranger ext cab STX 4x4 I bought new and enjoyed for 95k miles.
I now have a 02 ranger reg cab 4x2 (fleet special) I bought for my son.
I look forward to using the forum to help solve current and future problems.
I hope I can be of assistance to someone in return
Thanks
Gary
