howdy Everyone, new member from Texas.

trying to fix a ford ranger 2005 xl 2.3 for my 17yr old son. installing an a/c compressor, I notice two hoses clamped not factory and a plastic y connector missing connections.

I am not familiar with the 2.3L, but if those hoses are going into the firewall, that would have to be connected to the heater core.
