howdy folks
gf's got a 1999 ranger, i usually drive it as much as her, especially for long trips as shes usually nappin and not payin attention to the road. it used to be a *** communications truck an owner or to ago, and this as resulted in a few oddities but thats another story for another forum section :)
also i have a 64, and 66 vw type 1, 66 is on the road, looks like trash, but runs like a champ. the 64 is being fully rebuild, mostly custom and has been in the garage for the last few years.

none of any of the vehicles, gf is currently at work. as far as i can tell, its stock.
I think it may have some sort of governor on it though. only does 55 up 7% incline while other rangers blow past. It is the v6 though.
It does have a push button switch under the dash im assuming is attached to the wire sticking out of the roof where they apparently used a jackahammer to remove the blinky yellow light.
Did however put some sony 3 way 300w speakers in the back behind the seat in the stock mounting location, and ran the wires pretty well, just tied in to the front speakers as the stereos terminals for the rear speakers were apparently not working. :(
