Howdy from Las Vegas
Hi All,
My 2005 Ranger Edge and I roam around Las Vegas and the surrounding area. I joined the forum to share knowledge, gain some and just have a good time. My ranger is a two wheel drive Edge with the 4.0Litre V6. I do my own maintenance if possible and just finished replacing the thermostat housing and sensors, which is one reason why I am here. Motor runs great (no leak now from the housing), but the temperature gauge pegs to hot after starting. The fine boys at my local Ford dealer (where I buy my parts) sold me two different sensors, but told me they were interchangeable. Any insight on this little issue would be most appreciated.
The other item I am looking for is an answer as to why my heater blend door motor isn't getting 12 volts. New motor and temperature control but no twelve volts.BTW the blend door itself is fine. I am sure someone else has run into this and I plan on doing some searching, but hints are welcome!
