Icon7 i just got my first ranger

hi every one im 20 years old and just sold my 2000 Cherokee and bought a 2000 ranger.
i have always wanted a ranger to build a prerunner but the problem is that i dont know anything on how to build one.
right now i dont have money because i am in college and dont work.

my ranger has 3.0 engine and standard transmission
for now i would like to know what size of tires and wheels would be best for a prerunner.

To prerunner you need to look into long tavel kits.

Camburg Performance is the most common

Congrats on your first truck. Do you have any pictures of the new ride? One other thing to remember prerunners are expensive to build. But you can put some beefy tires on it for now.

31s is the max for un-lifted 2WDs

Get on tirerack.com and compare your options and get a price range. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are hella expensive.

You also need to look into new wheels, running big tires on the stock 15x7s usually don't look that great. But since you would only be doing 31s it wouldn't be that bad.

If you give me a price range I can tell you what you should be looking at for tires.

Don't forget to check your local Craigslist as well.

The baja tires are more aggressive than your BFG's. Your plans are cool.

I always thought tire rack was a good deal for tires. Living in canada we get screwed on the cost of everything pretty much.

You could go with a bl $200. Then you would be able to clear 33's. Do you plan on going off roading a bunch or just every now and then?
