hi i'm fairly new to the ford world. I started driving a 2001 extended cab ranger that was passed down to me about 5 years ago. It was a great little truck for work that made a few trips to the mountains of Tennessee. I was happy enough with it that when it was totaled out a few months ago in an accident that i bought a 2000 stepside with the insurance money but the motor has a knock in the bottom end when its idling so i took it to a shop that i used to work at to get it up on a lift and check everything out and found it has no power from the 6th cylinder. So i come here looking for some answers and opinions on what to do next
