im new here...

so, hi.

i drive a 2001 black ford ranger 4.0 v6 XLT extended cab 4x4.
i have 97,000 miles on it
whats the first best/needed upgrade on a ranger?

In my opinion a good exhaust system changes the way a truck looks and sounds. Pics of your truck!

welcome. first thing I would do to any vehicle I get now is an exhaust and tint.

yeah i just ordered new wheels/tires last sat. should be getting them put on this sat.

getting micky tompson classic 2 with goodyear wrangler silent armor tires


oh and any recommendations on exhaust?

If they salt the roads up there at all your going to hate the classic IIs, the salt ruins the polish on them.

For exhaust if you want deep sound Flowmaster, if you want mild sound and performance go Magnaflow

yeah, i live in Northern Maryland,they do salt the roads. and if there is the least bit of ice or snow/whatever they freak and put inch of salt down. can never get a snow day it seems. but in the past 3 years it has barely snowed

question, i know this is gonna sound like a newb question. But how easy or hard is it to crank the t bars to get some lift?

quite, benefit of still being in highschool. Parents pay for the necessary upgrades. i jst have to pick something reasonable aka what they want, not me.

i have a job, just doesnt pay well. i only work 2 nights a week as a cook/dishwasher. and i get 9.50 an hour. and i get paid every two weeks. need the money for college(hopefully)

yeah, i would but. i can settle for something less than i want. like i was gonna get open country MT tires from TOYO. local shop was gonna give me deal on them.

I say crank the torsion bars and go with 32/11.5-15 on a 15x10 wheel.
