intro

Recently got 95 2wd 2.3L auto. When I changed the timing belt, the marks on the cam sprocket and acc. sprocket were three teeth away from the mark, with damper at tdc. I reassembled with marks lined up,and the truck would only run about 50 mph. Moved belt back to where it was originally, and now runs fine,as it did beffore new belt. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the outer ring of the damper has slipped and crank is not where it should be, by the marks. This is my first post on any forum, so excuse me if I am using poor etiquite, just educate me. Thanks.
