I'm Ben from Minnesota, hence the user name.
I've been looking for a '97-'02 ranger 4x4 xlt ext cab for some time now. It seem everytime I find one it sells on me. I need to drive about an hour to the Twin Cities to get any deal cuz the stealers think they can get billions for their rigs in the Hutchinson area.

Anyway I got a good lead on two '99's as I described above for $2k to $3k range that I plan to jump on after xmas.

I come to this site to find tips and how to's fix, maintain, and modify a Ranger when needed. I'm sure I won't be here daily or even weekly but at least I know where to look when I need to find some info.

Thanks guys. Yesterday I secured my 1st Ranger. A long time coming. It is a '99 Ext Cab 4x4 4.0 XLT off road package. Green w/ a taneu cover. 165,000 miles. I'm picking it up Mon or Tue for $2500 cash.

The seller said he feels much better selling it to me rather than the African American who wanted to take the truck but come back for the title and pay cuz he had to ship it to his father asap in South Africa.
