Introducing myself

Hi all i'm new to this forum, my name is Art (Arturo), i'm 33 years old and i'm from Mexicali Baja California Mexico, please excuse me in advance if i make any grammar mistakes english is my second language.

I recently bought a 2001 Edge 4.0L, it's in mint condition inside and out and i love it, future plans (very soon) for it are 3" lift kit (front only) and 32x11.50's, some KC's in the front and maybe get rid of that step-side bed, it's not that i don't like it but i'm a big fan of baja off-road races and i kinda wanna give the truck a little 'off road look if you know what i mean.

This is the only pic i've taken so far (sorry for the background), i'll try to take more and post them tomorrow. thx all

Hey art, bienvenidos!

nice truck, should look great when you get all finished with it. The company i work for has a plant in Mexicali (Honeywell) & I'll be down there on business soon, i'll keep an eye out for the yellow ranger around town.

do you get involved in the 1000 or the baja 500 at all?

very nice ... are you going to continue running cal plates or are you gonna retag in mexico? From what i understand you guys have 2 types of plates, and the "national placas" are expensive but the regional ones just for baja cal norte arent that much

From: Mexicali Baja California,
thx

yea there are 2 types of plates, regional ones are like $800 for the whole thing and the 'national' ones like around $1200 so hell no i ain't getting plates i'd rather spend that money on something else

Well yes it is, i got my Nevada driver's licence when i was living in Vegas, did both the written and drive tests and passed so that's what i use here to drive, no problems for me

yeah but my question is arent you required to have current tags on the truck? Cause with the cats you took out no way that thing would pass a smog inspection to get new stickers once whats on there expires.
