I've never done anything like this before. I have a 2000 Ford Ranger- 6 cyl 3.0- 4wd- auto trans. I am a fix it kind of guy, if I can. In the early 70's I pretty much did all my auto work myself. Then things got complicated. I bought my Ranger new in 2001. I really like my truck. It's all the truck I need for my family. The motor and tranny and rear end have been good to me. I'm still on the original battery and alternator.
