Just bought 2008 XL 4x2 4cyl

Hello Fellow Rangers,
Just bought a 2008 XL 4x2 4cyl with 182K on the clock. Runs and drives great! It's in good shape overall thought I unsurprisingly have a few things to fix:
  • Check engine light due to broken coil
  • ABS light - sensor?
  • Missing sway bar links
  • In addition to this I plan on having the underside de-rusted and treated - only has surface rust but I want to avoid deeper issues
Any suggestions as to 'must do' service for these trucks beyond this?
Attaching photos for the interested.
Thanks!

Maintenance..... Take a look and see what needs replacing. Suspension, Brakes, Tune-up, Fuel. After all this is done. Than you can spend on some fun stuff.

Thanks, Rosebud. I guess my question was more along the lines of known issues I should be on the lookout for that would require maintenance, but I think your advice would cover those anyway.
Much appreciated!

The "must do" would be listed in the owners manual.

Hello Ranger Buffs,
I dug into the check engine light a bit more using a code reader, turns our I got a 'lean condition' code.
My understanding is that this could be (in order of expense/difficulty to repair):
1. Fuel filter needs changing - bought one and trying it - or,
2. Either the upstream or downstream 02 sensor
3. An injector or fuel delivery problem - I have tentatively ruled this out because truck runs like a top - no hesitation or stumbles whatsoever
My question for you fine folk is this:
Once I try a fix, like the fuel filter replacement, if it is successful, will the Check engine light go out on its own or do I need to do some kind of reset via the code reader?
Thanks!
