Just bought a ranger, Switching sides from Bronco to ranger

Well I got this 2006 Sport 4x4 Supercab 2D 4.0 5 speed for 7k with 135xxx miles on it.
I am from the Pittsburgh area and this truck is super clean compared to the other PA trucks I have looked at. My other truck is/was a 1996 Ford Bronco XLT with the 351w E40d w/ 154k miles. It had a 4'' Rancho lift, 33'' CB, Lights, racks, and a brush guard, custom recovery points, etc etc etc.... So this is a big change for me. Hoping to learn the ropes here... Part of me wants to lift the Ranger, the other half of me has learned the hard way through the bronco sitting for sale in my driveway that I shouldn't.

Let me know what y'all think and what not!

And here's one of my beloved Bronco.

Something I just noticed, and I am concerned about....

It seems there is oil on the floor, wasn't there when I test drove the truck or anything, coming from the clutch pedal assembly... You can sorta see if in the blurry picture of the floor...

I wiped it up when I detailed the interior, thinking it was a spilled drink or something, and then took it for a cruise, and noticed it's back.... Any ideas.

I'm not sure about your leak problem but nice truck and welcome to the site. I'd post a thread in the drivetrain or interior section (depends if you think its really the clutch or not) and you'll get more replies in there!

and the side pic it looks like the umbrella is a hat for the truck haha

LOL, Yea' it's a giant umbrella, Like 20 feet diameter or something of the sort. It's got a yard of concrete and the pole is 5-6 feet down to anchor it... pretty sweet for summer though!

Well, I have been driving this truck a ton, a lot of city driving, and there are no more leaks from the master cyl, (yes the reservoir is full) It must of just had an O ring or something come unseated.

I average about 18 MPG on the highway so far, but lately every time I drive it, I have had a load of lumber, or moving supplies, desks, furniture etc in it. I have learned that it doesn't like wet roads, it spins pretty easily... light *** end I guess.

I checked the resevoir and it is full, and it hasn't leaked since? Truck drives fine, clutch is smooth and it grabs well, guess I'll just keep an eye on it.
