2004 Ford Ranger Edge Check below for a lil story on the truck. This is actually my second Ranger. I had a 2000 XLT just like this one except it was white and had chrome wheels. Had 80k on the clock without a single problem and I traded it in on an 04 Mazda RX-8. Second biggest mistake of my life.

I found this truck hiding at Joe Scott Motor Company here in Montgomery. I saw the ad for the truck in the Bulletin Board but something looked suspicious in it to me so I had to check it out. I sold my car last Saturday so I told mom and dad to run by the place and check the truck out on their way down. Well, I'm just getting off work and mom calls wanting me to come down there and look at it. She says I have to hear the story behind this truck. So I get there and the guy starts telling me about it. He said that an older man bought the truck and ended up hating it. He didn't like the fact that it has a manual trans and that it had hard seats. Why he bought it to begin with I don't know. So he parks the truck in his garage and does not drive it. He gives the truck to his son who in turn wants to give it to his daughter when she turns 16 but she does not want to drive a manual either. The truck ends up a small dealership in Hope Hull and then at Joe Scott.

I've said all that to get to this. The picture you are about to see has NOT been altered, photo shopped, or toyed with in any way so don't adjust your screen. It is not the trip meter either. This is the actual mileage on the truck.

In other words, I just bought a brand new "used" truck. Here's a few more pics of the truck. It's also a work in progress. I still have to get a bugflector, vent shades, toolbox, and tint the windows. I'll post more pics as I get things done.

Thanks for all the replies so far. The biggest mistake of my life was the last girl i dated. Let her move in with me and it was downhill after that. Didn't end pretty at all

I've been single for 19 years (since I was born)... and it really hasn't been too bad... I just do not have luck with women, or I attract the wrong ones...

I see your wanting tint, I used auto-trim and design, over behind McGough Mazda, they did a nice job too... as for bug deflectors and vent shades try orileys got my vent shades for 30 bucks...

Funny you say that. I got my tint done the other day at auto-trim design. Got vent-shades from them as well but the bugflector they gave me was ugly as homemade sin. Took it back and got one from Advance Auto for $45. Should have gotten my ventshades there as well. Could have saved some money.

yeah auto trim is a lil overpriced on other stuff... their tint is nice tho! so whats gonna be your next mods, ought to add some clear corner or 06 corners...

maybe you've seen me around town...

I'm still in awe myself of how I found this thing as are a lot of other people. It was actually the center of attention the other day at the Ford dealership when I went to get a spare key made. A rare find indeed. Gonna be holding on to this one for a long time.

I've always been a fan of the stepside. My 00 was the same way. I'll post some pics of it if I can find some.

Welcome, and what a find. That truck isn't even broken in yet, more like a museum piece.

Exactly. That's the mileage you generally see on an exotic car or a vehicle that is very rare, not a Ranger. But his loss is my gain.

probably just keep the truck stock. i wouldn't mind running across a set of the chrome wheels that look like mine. may try to find some knock offs somewhere.
