I'm in a frigging steel mill, Leo -- waste of my time!

Although, my shop at home is even WORSE, if you can believe that...

Here it is: a quick (and rather bad) pano of my office taken from the corner near the window. I'm not in it on purpose! (You should thank me!) I used to share this space w/ someone else but he got his own space a few months ago, so I took down the seperator and it's all me now! Thinking the space in front of my desk desperately needs a foosball table!

Someday I'll get a pano of the dome, where the real fun happens!

Was thinking the same thing John (Griggs). John (Moorehead) do you actually WORK in there? Or are you like my boss, always in someone ELSES workspace..

Edit: BTW, wish I could get away w/ having Car & Driver on my desk here at work!

Yeah, Windex is my friend....

That's actually my home workstation though. I'm there when I'm present here (on this site). Everything I do that's work related is on CAD, so that eliminated the need for piles of drafting supplies and other misc. items.

My actual workstation at Nissan is unable to be photographed, though. Confidentialty agreement does not allow me to even have a camera in my possession while inside the plant gates (including the parking lot).

BUT, my "work" workstation is still relatively neat. It's a lab where we do titrations, Zinc tests on the Electrodeposition tanks, etc. I've personalized it a little bit, though. I've got a Saleen poster in the lab.

And Bubba, we have Car and Driver, Motorweek, Automobile, Motor Trend, all of those in our office. Nissan WANTS us to have them...to stay sharp on the competition....

I was more or less just making a note of the difference between your work environment and mine. We have no professional reason to read Car & Driver here, so I wouldn't expect to see it on a desk. Obviously you do. Then again we have lots of neat trade rags laying around that can be marginally interesting to read. Although I doubt they would apeal to many of you..

Very interesting that you drive a Ranger working for Nissan, lol!

I'm not sure how it is today, but in times past if you drove an import when you worked for GM or Chrysler near here, you risked ongoing vandalism. The UAW guys took that stuff VERY seriously.

That's cool. I knew exactly what you were meaning by it. We are not, however, allowed to have Truckin', Sport Truck, etc. just laying out on the table.

John G., I haven't caught any flak so far over driving a Ford. Many of the execs drive Cobras, a few drive F-150s, and there are quite a few Tauri (:)) out in the parking lot.

BUT, for every Ford, there are two 350 Z's. Altimas are a dime a dozen up here. Sentras....ugh. Millions.

We have over 12,000 employees up here. And surprisingly, we aren't UAW right now. That might change on the next vote, but for the moment, we aren't.

Hey! I found another picture of myself!

This is a pic I put on my senior page for the highschool yearbook this year. I photoshopped the sign to say "SOUTH COUNTY STUNTIN'", but none of you know the joke behind it, hehe...

I'm the one on the left, the kid in the middle is Noah (my twin brother!) and the kid on the right is just a friend, he came to the Daytona meet with me, his name is Wyatt if anyone remembers... I don't think I've ever told anyone on here that I share my truck with my twin brother, he doesnt post though. Of course we are fraternal twins, I'm 5'9" 175lbs, and he's 5'4" 135lbs, LOL...
